The seeds of the tobacco are used in the Perla del Mar Perla P originate from the rich fertile soil of Cuba. Years ago, when Cuban exporters needed to pack more cigars in each box, they started packing cigars so tightly that the pressure altered the shape of the cigars.The Perla Del Mar Perla "P" has a distinctive "square" shape. There are only a handful of cigars on the market today that use this throwback shape. These box pressed cigars burn longer and have a robust taste compared to their "round" counterparts.
